Friday June 10, 2005

     7:39am  I just woke up.

11:27am  I haven't made too many updates. Oh yeah, my mom is going to give me a ride to Kerrville on Tuesday. I don't have to take off walking. I'm going to the Folk Fest! From there I'll head West. I'm going to New Mexico. My sister just gave me a ride to her apartment. I'm going to walk to the hospital and catch the bus to donate plasma.

11:56am  I just stopped at the Jack in the Box and got me some more lemonade. Some free lemonade, sweet. I'm going to walk to the hospital and find out what the letter of the day is.

12:00pm  I am walking through the VA parking lot.

12:10pm  Russell hooked me up with a cigarette at the hospital. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

12:27pm  I didn't have the letter of the day, so that's my sign to walk. I am about to walk through the Oak Hills Country Club.

12:51pm  Some good publicity on Fredericksburg Road. I just hopped over 410. I have to come back tomorrow and fly my sign here. On my way to save the world.

1:01pm  I just walked past Crossroads Mall. I'm going to stop at Santa Fe and see if Lorenzo is home. If not, I'm going to leave Santa Fe. In and out.

1:04pm  Damnit, Lorenzo is not home. That sucks. I want to get my music back from him before I leave.

1:10pm  I didn't even have to ask Bruno. I walked to Cristan's and when I opened the door he said, "You want some fuel?" He told me, "I thought you were in Califa's already." I told him not yet. I leave Tuesday.

2:41pm  Stuck at the ZLB. By Patty. Stick it in me, Patty.

2:47pm  First cycle was 223ml. I am really surprised because my iron was like 47.

3:42pm  Leaving the plasma place. I've got thirty bucks.

3:54pm  Lorenzo still isn't home at Santa Fe. I'm going to walk to Crossroads Mall. I'll go Hobby Lobby and buy some rainbow beads for my walking stick.

4:27pm  I just came out of the Hobby Lobby. I got me a can of spray-paint and some rainbow beads.

Oh yeah, there was a sign by the spray-paint that said you needed an ID to buy. I was positive they wouldn't accept my scanned copy. Another girl showed up wanting to buy spray-paint and I asked her if she could get me one. She bought me a can of black for $3.25 and I paid her outside.

4:33pm  Mike hooked me up with a cigarette at Crossroads. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

4:55pm  Jumped on the 92 to Medical Center. I paid with a dollar. Oh yeah, I put my rainbow beads on my walking stick. It looks badass. I took a picture.

I saw a sign while I was on the bus that says, "Psychic Answers. 308-5856 One free question."

5:14pm  I asked this one girl at the transfer center at the hospital, "Hey, have I ever told you my story?" She got all freaked out and told me no. I asked her, "Well can I tell you a really interesting story? I'm not asking for anything. I just want you to listen." She shook her head no and I told her straight up to her face, "Damn, have you always been that ignorant?" She got all offended and I walked off. Hehe, made her think. I was just testing her. She failed.

Oh, hold the phone. I think that bitch is making a complaint on me with a transit cop, haha. Hehe, I'm going to see what he tells me. I yelled at her, "The truth hurts, huh?"

5:25pm  Haha, what a show at the hospital! That one girl got all pissed off at me. She even called a cop. I didn't cuss her out or anything. I just asked her if she'd always been that ignorant and walked away. Afterwards the transit cop, Officer Camacho, I think, he came up to me. I thought, "Shit, I'm going to go to jail. I can't go traveling now." That soon passed and I was fearless again. He all told me, "You smell like marijuana. Do you have any on you?" That's bullshit, I didn't smell like marijuana. I smoke it the way it doesn't leave a smell. I guess he saw that my eyes were red. I told him no, that I didn't. He patted me down and everything. He felt my mint-tin of weed in my pocket and asked me, "What's that?" I told him, "That's my can of mints." He told me he was checking me for weapons. He just gave me this big lecture. I cut him off and said, "I am not doing anything wrong. I am just speaking my mind and making people think. Obviously people don't like to think for themselves. Nobody listens. This world is doomed." I told him I was just doing my job. I even told him my mission objectives. I wasn't surprised he wasn't willing to listen. At least he knows what I am doing. I told him, "She'll never forget me and neither will you. Just like I want you not to. My work is done. I'm on my way to save the world." He asked me, "Now what's that?" I told him, "The can of spray-paint I just bought." Oh yeah, when the cop was talking to me and that girl walked up I told her, right in front of the cop, "Truth hurts, doesn't it?"

5:28pm  Michelle hooked me up with a cigarette at the hospital. I appreciate it, Michelle. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

     5:36pm  I'm on the 606 going home.

6:15pm  I just had me an awesome presentation on the bus. All the way home. It was this guy reading a Mao book. He listened to my whole odyssey and everything. He didn't agree with it, but listened to the whole thing. He was all telling me about reptilian instincts and shit. He was all, "People aren't going to work for free." I told him, "That's what I'm doing right now."

     6:30pm  I'm home already.

11:32pm  I just found out that I'm not going to make it to the Folk Fest. It ends on the 12th. My mom is going to give me a ride up to Kerrville anyway. I'll see what happens from there. Maybe I can get my mom to give me a ride to Odessa or something. I don't know.

11:37pm  I think I'm going to crash out. I'm going to bed a little early tonight. I put my laundry to wash. I'm really excited. I'm going to leave pretty soon. I am really mad at myself for missing the Kerrville Folk Fest. I really wanted to go this year and follow up. I thought I'd be able to hand out CD's. Guess not. Oh well.

Next day..
